Lewy Physical Therapy is an independently owned and operated outpatient physical therapy clinic with three locations serving Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas of Louisiana. Our team of physical therapists consists of caring and compassionate professionals, with the common goal of recovery and healing.
Unlike larger institutions where physical therapy is treated as a department, Lewy Physical Therapy’s sole purpose is to provide customized treatment programs and individualized patient care. Patients typically see the same physical therapist on each visit.
In an independent physical therapy setting, Lewy Physical Therapy provides patients with a unique opportunity to get treatment in a setting designed first and foremost for physical therapy. Patients take advantage of reduced pain and quicker recovery in their therapy with aquatics to land-based programs.
Company History
Family owned and operated! Danny and Shannon Lewy established Lewy Physical Therapy in 2001 with the intent of providing the highest quality of physical therapy for patients in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. When they began Lewy Physical Therapy, Danny and Shannon wanted to ensure that each location offered the best hours in the area and offered customized aquatic to land-based therapy programs in order to provide the best solution for reduced pain and a quicker recovery.
